Happy Thursday! Cooler air is finally filtering in after a cold frontal passage last night. Temperatures are in the low-to-mid-60s this morning and we only look to warm up to around 79 for our afternoon high. We'll see plenty of sunshine today with a stiff northwesterly wind at 10-15 mph. Temperatures look to drop into the upper-40s to low-50s by the time Friday morning rolls around, so that will definitely be a shock to our system!
Highs warm back up into the low-80s by Sunday and Monday out ahead of a weak cold front that will bring mostly cloudy skies and stray showers to our area for both those days. There is the possibility that even cooler air follows this frontal passage as we head into next Tuesday and Wednesday as sunny skies look to return.
Michael is now a tropical storm this morning with winds at 50 mph. It will continue to weaken throughout the day and bring gusty winds and heavy rain across the Georgia and the Carolinas.
