Happy Tuesday! We are off to a very warm start this morning as temperatures to begin our Tuesday are in the mid-to-upper-70s. We'll see mostly cloudy skies today with a chance of isolated storms this afternoon. The storms will be aided by tropical moisture from the remnants of Barry and so any storms could contain heavy downpours. Many of us will end up staying dry.
After a break from the heat thanks to the rain from Barry, we return those highs into the low-90s today. Factor in the humidity and it could feel like it's as high as 101 in spots. We'll see partly cloudy skies tonight with morning lows in the mid-70s.
We'll then see daily pop-up storm chances for the rest of the work week. High temperatures will continue to warm through Friday as we look to reach the upper-90s by then. Friday looks to be the hottest day of the next seven with heat index values approaching 107. Storm chances will increase a bit for the weekend, but no wash-outs are expected. The increased storm chances will help temperatures cool-off a bit, but it won't be noticeably cooler due to the fact that feels-like temperatures will stay in the triple digits.
