More fair weather cumulus clouds for us today as temperatures got warmer than expected into the lower 80s in Meridian early this afternoon. This will cause me to bump up highs as we head through the rest of the week. Before our warming trend kicks into high gear, we have one more cool night tonight as we drop into the middle and upper 50s.
We keep the fair weather clouds with us through the remainder of the work week and into Saturday as highs warm each day as well. Due to our warm start, and only expecting to get warmer, I have added the first 90 to the seven day on Saturday.
Rain chances are looking less likely for Sunday and Monday compared to yesterday, For now, I will keep the isolated showers in the forecast as a shower is possible, but it is starting to look unlikely. Models also try to pop a shower at any point from Thursday on as we get more humid, but that also seems unlikely as high pressure remains firmly in control.
High pressure builds in even stronger next week with us back to 90 by next Tuesday with us potentially making it into the middle 90s as we head into the middle of next week.
