Update on Louisiana Silver Alert

Welton "Wic" Pierce, who was the subject of a Silver Alert in Louisiana Oct. 29, was spotted Nov. 5 in Wilkinson County, Miss.

Louisiana State Police requested assistance from the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation in locating the 81-year-old man.

Pierce was last seen Tuesday at about 2 p.m. on Highway 61 in Wilkinson County, driving north.

He is a white male, 5' 11", 200 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing gray shorts and a blue short-sleeve shirt.

Pierce is believed to be in a white 2002 GMC crew cab pickup bearing a Louisiana tag of W144768.

Family members say Pierce suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment.

On behalf of he Louisiana State Police, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for 81-year-old Welton “Wic” Pierce of Zachary, Louisiana.

He is a white male, 5' 11", 200 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes.

Pierce was last seen wearing gray shorts and a blue short-sleeve shirt.

He was last seen Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, at about 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the 6000 block of Old Scenic Highway in East Baton Rouge Parish, driving in an unknown direction.

Pierce is believed to be in a white 2002 GMC crew cab pickup bearing a Louisiana tag of W144768.

Family members say Pierce suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment.
