A beautiful day with ample sunshine with temperatures in the middle 80s. The record high for today is 89, and we have made it to at least 87 today. We will see a mild evening with us dropping back into the 50s and returning to the middle 80s for your Thursday as a few high clouds arrive. It will be windy on Friday with winds from the south at 15-25 mph.
The first of two cold fronts arrive Friday morning to bring a few stray showers to the area. The question about this front is where does it stall. Models are starting to hint that it won't clear our area but stall over us, which may prolong shower activity over the area for Friday. This front will return northward on Saturday as a warm front ahead of our next system, which will allow temperatures to rise but keep periods of showers around the area through the afternoon hours.
Cold front number two will arrive late Saturday into Sunday to bring more rain and storms. We are too far out for specifics, but it is looking like we will have ingredients line up for all modes of severe weather possible. Most of the rain will exit around sunrise Sunday with skies clearing and cooler temperatures filtering in behind the front. We will have to monitor this front closely.
We will dry out for Monday and Tuesday with temperatures in the middle to upper 70s. Another cold front looks to arrive Wednesday into Thursday that could bring more rain and storms.
