After some heavy rain and storms that prompted some flash flood warnings earlier today, many of us have dried out. Southern counties still have some showers, and a few showers will be possible area wide through the night and into our Thursday. Coverage will not be as extensive as we have seen today, but the cloud deck will keep temperatures in the 60s through Friday.
Our cold front Friday ushers in our first cool down as highs drop into the 50s for the weekend with lows in the 30s. We look to likely see some frost on Sunday morning and possibly a light freeze in northern locations and normally cooler spots.
Our next system develops late Sunday into Monday to bring rain showers our way late Sunday and through our Monday. The cold front that will pass late Monday will be the biggest cool down we have seen this season with highs in the 40s for Tuesday with lows as cold as the upper 20s Wednesday morning.
