Woman shot in leg at Frank Berry Courts

Meridian police are investigating a shooting in the city Friday night.
Sergeant Dareall Thompson says a woman was shot in the leg around 7 Friday evening around Frank Berry Courts. He says she reported hearing gunfire and then realized she had been shot. Thompson says her injuries are not life-threatening. There is no word on a possible suspect yet.
