Governor's Job Fair in Meridian
Hundreds of interested applicants attended the Governor's Meridian Area Job Fair Thursday.
Director Adam Todd said at least 200 people had come through the doors very early in the day. Todd said job fairs can give applicants a certain advantage.
“The biggest advantage is that you have the opportunity to sell yourself directly to someone who is taking part in the decision-making process,” said Todd.
Todd said nearly 70 businesses were represented at the job fair.
