Mr. McGee, 71 of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Bedford Care Center of Marion.

Mr. McGee was a man of routine and work; having worked for Magnolia Beverage for 33 years. He was a dedicated employee and would often begin his days at 3am and work a full day. His co-workers and employers were more than just that; he also considered them to be his family. Steve often made the mundane things of life enjoyable and pleasant. He was a mentor to many people and was always there in other’s times of need. He was always uplifting and had a great positive attitude. He was an encourager to others whenever possible. To know him was to love him; with his quick wit and dry sense of humor he never met a stranger. Steve was a family man and his legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren, whom he dearly loved. Mr. McGee was a faithful and dedicated member of Hopewell Baptist Church; he was most found of The Brotherhood group. He often gave of his time helping others in any way. He loved serving in this ministry and considered each man a brother.

Mr. McGee is survived by his wife of 20 years, Melba McGee; children, Justin McGee (Megan), Aleshia Hegwood (Shane), DeEtta Garrett, and Stephen McMullan. Grandchildren, Marley Burgess, Chandler Hegwood, Hannah Grace Hegwood, Ashley Hillhouse, Brittney Pinon, Zach Mason, Katlynn McMullan, Dalton McMullan, and Devyn McMullan. Great-grandchildren, Raley, Logan, Remmington, and River Hillhouse; John Hayes Mason; and Lillian McMullan. Mother, Ruby McGee; Brothers, Scott McGee (Maria) and Parker McGee (Allison) as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
