TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Alabama women’s basketball team came up short on Thursday night at Coleman Coliseum, falling to Auburn, 66-56.
The Crimson Tide was led by sophomore Jasmine Walker’s 18 points. Senior Shaquera Wade scored 13 points, and sophomore Ariyah Copeland added 12 points and eight rebounds.
The Crimson Tide made eight triples in the contest and pulled down 13 offensive rebounds. Alabama also assisted on 14 of its 22 made baskets.
The Tide will return to action on Sunday, Jan. 13, when it travels to College Station, Texas to take on Texas A&M. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on ESPNU.
