For the seventh straight week, No. 1 Philadelphia is at the top. The Tornadoes have clinched 2A-District 6, and will host the No. 4 seed from 2A-District 5 in the first round of the playoffs Nov. 8. Their opponent will be the loser of Friday's Bay Springs at Heidelberg game.
No. 2 Wayne County has locked up a home playoff game. The War Eagles can clinch 5A-District 4 with a win vs. Picayune Nov. 8, and will start playoffs Nov. 15.
No. 3 Louisville clinched 4A-District 4, and will host the No. 4 seed from 4A-District 3 Nov. 8.
No. 4 Neshoba Central has locked up a home playoff game. The Rockets can clinch 5A-District 2 with a win at Cleveland Central Friday, or vs. Callaway Nov. 8.
No. 5 Quitman has locked up a home playoff game. The Panthers can clinch 4A-District 5 with a win vs. Mendenhall Friday.
No. 6 Enterprise has locked up a home playoff game and No. 2 seed. The Bulldogs will host the No. 3 seed from 2A-District 6 in the first round Nov. 8. Their opponent will be the loser of Thursday's Lake at Scott Central game.
No. 7 Lake has locked up a playoff spot. The Hornets will play for a home playoff game and No. 2 seed at Scott Central Thursday. If they win, they will host the winner of Bay Springs at Heidelberg. If they lose, they will travel to Enterprise.
No. 8 Sweet Water has clinched Alabama 1A-Region 1 and will host Georgiana in the first round Nov. 8.
No. 9 Demopolis has clinched a playoff spot and No. 3 seed. The Tigers will travel to the No. 2 seed in Alabama 5A-Region-4 in the first round Nov. 8.
No. 10 Bay Springs has clinched a playoff spot. The Bulldogs will play for a No. 3 seed at Heidelberg Friday. If they win, they will travel to the winner of Lake and Scott Central. If they lose, they will travel to Philadelphia in the first round Nov. 8.
No. 11 Lamar clinched MAIS-5A-District 2 and a No. 2 seed. They will host the winner of Starkville Academy at Magnolia Heights Nov. 8.
