Kylin Hill declares for NFL Draft

STARKVILLE, Miss. Mississippi State running back Kylin Hill, who leads the SEC in rushing yards, announced he will forgo his senior season and enter the NFL draft.

The announcement came from Hill's Twitter and was confirmed in a personal farewell post on MSU football's website.

In his farewell post titled "Hail State Forever: By Kylin Hill", the junior running back states, "Over the past week, I have spent many days and nights reflecting on how grateful I am for these last three years at Mississippi State, but also deciding what the future holds for me and my family."

Hill continues on by thanking Bulldog Nation, the university, the coaching staff and his teammates who he refers to as "brothers".

He finishes off the post by saying like every kid, it has been a dream of his to one day play in the NFL and he looks forward to "chasing the lifelong dream of playing on Sundays."

Hill said he still plans to play in the Music City Bowl against Louisville on Dec. 30.
