Mississippi State women earn one seed in NCAA Tournament

After claiming the SEC regular season and tournament championship, Mississippi State will enter the NCAA Tournament as a one seed for the second year in a row.

The Bulldogs are the top seed in the Portland Region, and will open the tournament hosting Southern University at Humphrey Coliseum on Friday. MSU joins Louisville, Baylor, and Notre Dame as the top four seeds.

Vic Schaefer has led Mississippi State to the national championship game two seasons in a row. MSU has won 30-games the last three seasons.
