SCOOBA, Miss. -- East Mississippi continued its dominance in 2018 with a 47-0 victory over Coahoma on Thursday night, clinching the MACJC North for the ninth time in school history.

The EMCC offensive attack was powered by sophomore running back Deon McIntosh, who ran for 146 yards and two touchdowns in the win. It was the 4th 100-yard game of the season for the Notre Dame transfer.

The Lions defense put another stellar performance, holding the Tigers to just under 100 total offensive yards and just 1.6 yards a carry on Friday. The defensive line also created havoc for the Coahoma offensive line with 9.0 sacks and 17.0 tackles for loss.

EMCC will be the #1 seed in the MACJC playoffs next month. Lions end the regular season next week on the road at Northeast.
