NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- No. 3 seed Tennessee pulled away from No. 6 seed Mississippi State for an 83-76 victory in the SEC Tournament Quarterfinals.

Vols guard Admiral Schofield finished with 20 points, while fellow senior Kyle Alexander and SEC Player of the Year Grant Williams each contributed 16.

The Bulldogs tied it up twice in the second half, but the Vols shut down the comeback attempt and secured a return trip to the semifinals.

In a rematch of last year's championship game, Tennessee faces No. 2 seed Kentucky in the semifinals on Saturday.
