EMBDC partners with MSU Meridian students for business studies

MERIDIAN, MISS. (WTOK) Two local businesses are getting help to improve from Mississippi state business students.

At a press conference held at the downtown campus, it was announced that business students from MSU would be helping two businesses selected by the EMBDC. Throughout the summer, the business students will take a look at the company's current business plan and try to help them in areas they could improve. The two businesses named today are Dixie Supply and Outdoors for Less.

"We are looking to expand the products we are offering. We want some help from them on what would be good fits and what would be a good route for us to go," says owner of Outdoors for Less, Greg Maranto.

These studies will be conducted at no cost to the participating businesses.
