Meridian Community College offered a great show for a Valentine's Day date on Thursday night.

It was opening night of "Guys and Dolls," which is MCC's Arts and Letters high school musical. It is a production that features high school students from all four high schools in Lauderdale County.

MCC instructor Steve Nabors says it's a classic golden age musical that is a lot of fun for the students and audience.

If you missed Thursday night's show, you may catch it through the weekend. Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights. An additional performance will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
