Citing academic and social concerns, the American Academy of Pediatrics encouraged schools to have the goal of “having students physically present in school” despite the rising tide of COVID-19 infections nationwide.
The teachers lined up their cars and traveled around dropping off signs to every senior in the graduating class. Principal Shane Rodgers says about 25 West Lauderdale staff members volunteered to drop the signs off Friday.
Students that attend the Enterprise School District are able to pick up meals on campus. The district is also running bus routes with breakfast and lunch meals and dropping them off to students at their bus stop.
