East Asia, Western US Await 'Ring of Fire' Eclipse

In an annular solar eclipse, the moon does not cover the entire sun but rather leaves a ring of fire around the edge. The best viewing will be on West Coast in the US, but Mississippi and Alabama should be able to see the first hour of the eclipse before sunset.
