Brandy McGill made her way back to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in June 2024, this after anchoring full time in Hattiesburg at WDAM.
Brandy began her career as a reporter and weekend morning anchor at WLOX in 2019 after obtaining her degree in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Southern Mississippi.
Prior to USM, Brandy attended Jones County Junior College, where she received her associate’s degree and was a member of the dance team.
Brandy enjoys attending community outreach events. She even served as a board member with South Mississippi AIDS Tasks Force nonprofit in 2020.
Brandy has a passion for storytelling, but outside of work, she enjoys being a mom, shopping and exercising.
